Vivien Sansour
Vivien Sansour founded the Palestine Heirloom Seed Library. An anthropologist by training, she has documented rural agricultural practices worldwide.
Her artist residency in Cyprus included the exhibit “Where The Sky And The Earth Touch.” To promote seed autonomy, she created the Traveling Kitchen Project, a mobile kitchen engaging Palestinians in discussions on heirloom varieties and biodiversity. She aims to reintegrate threatened varieties into daily life. Vivien has presented her work globally at venues like SALT Art Center, Georgetown University, Qalandiya Biennale, and Columbia University.
